Painting of the Horses 
2004
During the week of November 3rd to 6th the Mitey Riders got the opportunity to
groom and paint their horses.  Everyone involved had a great time!

 Sensory Integration:
First step was for each rider to brush their horse.

Making Hygiene Fun:
Second step was to make sure that the horse's feet were clean.

Fine Motor Skills:
After all the grooming was done, the riders were able to begin painting their horses.
Horse Anatomy:
For a finishing touch the horse got their 'nails' done in a glitter paint.

Sense of Accomplishment:
A job well done!
Bonding Between Horse and Child:
The last thing to do before calling it a day is to help wash the paint off the horses.
