Interested in having your child ride?

To be eligible, riders in the Mitey Riders program:

• Must be five years of age or older
• Must provide, annually, a prescription for riding from a qualified physician.
• May not have a history of having uncontrolled Grand Mal seizures
• For Down Syndrome riders: Must have a recent (within twelve months prior to beginning session annually) Atlantaoaxial instability verification.
• Riders/Parents of riders will support the Mitey Riders through the contribution of their time to our volunteer program.

• We reserve the right to cancel a class or a student's participation in a class if we do not have enough volunteers to run a class safely.

• We reserve the right to refuse any riders (of any disability) based on our ability to safely accommodate their needs.

• We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue any riders for whom the program is deemed by us not to be beneficial.

Rider Forms To enroll a child in the Mitey Riders program, please print and complete the necessary forms below. New riders are generally identified and assessed during the summer break.  Submit all forms as a packet to the farm address (Misty Meadows Mitey Riders, 455 Providence Road South, Waxhaw, NC 28173).
