There are virtually hundreds of tasks that need to be accomplished daily to keep a program of this magnitude effective and safe for our riders, horses and volunteers.

One of the key ingredients to our program’s success is the direct, hands-on participation from our volunteers.  Their commitment allows us to continue providing lessons at no financial cost to you. 

While we are not charging for this benefit, we are requiring our families to provide “sweat equity” in exchange for lessons.  We think a fair exchange is, at the minimum, one hour of volunteer time for each class in which a rider participates.  There are many ways to volunteer.
